Identify the driveway or paved patio, whether it is paving or concrete, any coating or sealant and the dirt, moss or stains to address. Note shade, loose pavers, damaged joints and standing water. These conditions affect the method; stronger pressure is not automatically suitable.
For a slippery paved patio, report the material, growth or dirt and when it becomes slippery. Cleaning and drainage assessment are separate from proving slip resistance or repairing uneven paving. After renovation work, distinguish loose dirt from known cement, paint or adhesive residue and identify any coating; neither one pressure setting nor complete residue removal can be assumed.
For preparation and quoting, give the approximate area, vehicle access, water availability and drainage route. Identify nearby plants, belongings and any previous coating or treatment. A photograph can explain the condition but does not determine the method.
Agree the cleaning boundary, runoff and displaced-debris handling before the visit. Re-sanding, sealing, damaged-paver or joint repairs and separate stain treatment must be identified in the quote. Cleaning does not correct falls, underground drainage faults or damaged paving.
MEL ONE assesses the material, condition and access before agreeing the cleaning method, surfaces and intended result. Roofs and coated or delicate finishes need their own assessment; the driveway-paver approach is not automatically appropriate.
Our Burnside paved-driveway cleaning record shows the mossy paved driveway, cleaning in progress and visible result. Your surface needs its own assessment of method and expected finish.
The before photograph records moss on the paved driveway; the later photographs show the cleaned surface. This helps distinguish the visible cleaning result from paving repair. Loose pavers, lost joint material, broken edges and uneven levels need their own scope, and a successful clean at Burnside does not establish that a different coating or stone can be treated in the same way.
Give your suburb and the surface type if known. Safe existing photos of the whole area and visible marks are optional. Explain access restrictions and items that normally occupy the area. We can agree what needs moving and who will do it before the visit; heavy objects can stay in place for enquiry photos.
Read the cleaning preparation guide and quote checklist. Request a driveway cleaning assessment.
We assess the surface, stain type, coating and existing damage, then explain the proposed method and achievable result. Some marks can remain after cleaning; the agreed scope does not guarantee removal of every stain.
Area, surface condition, joints, coatings, stains, water supply, drainage and access affect the scope. Include nearby plants or items and compare the same surfaces, method, preparation and debris handling. Identify sealing, joint work or separate stain treatment rather than assuming they are included.
Not automatically. Cleaning, sealing and repairs are separate work items that need to be identified in the written quote.
